Doner kebab red CHILLIE Sauce

HOW MANY RED CHILLI PEPPERS SHOULD I USE FOR DONER KABAB RED SAUCE?

There are a variety of different types of chili peppers, and it can be hard to tell you how many according to the heat sensitivity. We used medium spiced Moroccan Chilies from Morrison’s that were all they had there.

The more bells or Jalapeños someone likes; The hotter their dish will probably taste because jalapenos contain higher levels of cayenne pepper (than other chilies). So if you’re looking for something milder try using one bell instead which equates to 3 tablespoons dried spice mix in adding extra flavor without too much kick.

MEDIUM CHILLI PEPPER

  • Extra hot 3 large chilies.
  • Hot 2 large Chilies
  • Medium 1 large Chili
  • Mild 1 small Chili

MILD CHILLI PEPPER

  • Extra hot 4 Chilies.
  • Hot 3 Chilies
  • Medium 2 Chilies
  • Mild 1 Chili

SHOULD I REMOVE SEEDS IN CHILLI PEPPERS?

It is vital you remove the seeds in your chili peppers before using them, especially if they are spicier. Seeds have capsaicin which gives the pepper its heat, so leaving these in won’t actually be adding any extra flavor to your dish just making it hotter. Also please don’t touch your eyes after touching chili peppers, it really hurts.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH RED CHILLI SAUCE?

We love to use our Doner kebab red chili sauce on a variety of different dishes from rice and noodles to pizza , french fries and pasta.

You can also use it as a marinade for meat or fish, but don’t leave it on for too long or the chili sauce will start to burn.

How to store doner kebab red chili sauce?

Doner kebab red chili sauce is best stored in the fridge, but make sure you leave it to cool first. If you try and eat hot chili sauce, it will burn your mouth so please be careful.
