I only share family-friendly healthy recipes that take less than 10 minutes of active cooking time. This is so that you can cook anytime you’d like, without having to spend a lot of time.
My Story with the Clean Eating
I’ve been blogging since 2020, but it wasn’t until 2021 that we discovered the Healthy diet and Paleo made us feel. I’d been interested in healthy eating since a very early age: I went vegetarian at age 12 because I felt like something was just not right about the standard American diet.
That was, of course, the only really visible “alternative” diet at the time! And after 16 years of going back and forth between being vegan or vegetarian for various reasons (ranging from health to ethics), my husband finally convinced me to try out this new thing called Paleo.
We loved how great we both looked in all our clothes again—and even more so when they started fitting better than ever before…
I was in so much pain when my jaw started hurting that I decided to try a Whole30, which is an elimination diet focused on whole foods. In less than 2 weeks of the 30-day program and paleo recipes like this one from the Fuss Free Paleo Cooking blog, all 3 issues were resolved!
I had been struggling with sleep problems for years before realizing it might be related to my dairy allergy instead of just stress. My doctor said if there’s anything about me she knows well enough already it’s how sensitive I am ornery migraines are triggered by food sensitivities too! She recommended giving up gluten as we seemed to split down the middle between people who thought eliminating sugar helped them lose weight and those who felt better without it.
