The Recipe Health Score is calculated on a scale of 0-100, evaluating various nutritional aspects of your recipe:

Scoring Components:

  • Nutrient Density (25%)
  • Protein Quality (15%)
  • Fiber Content (15%)
  • Fat Quality (15%)
  • Sugar Content (15%)
  • Sodium Levels (15%)

Score Interpretation:

  • 80-100 Excellent nutritional value
  • 65-79 Good nutritional value
  • 50-64 Moderate nutritional value
  • 35-49 Below average nutritional value
  • 0-34 Poor nutritional value

Formula:

Health Score = 0.25 × NutrientDensity + 0.15 × ProteinQuality + 0.15 × FiberScore + 0.15 × FatQuality + 0.15 × SugarScore + 0.15 × SodiumScore

Each component is normalized to a 0-100 scale based on established nutritional guidelines.
