Try our fresh beetroot latte recipe! This creamy, slightly sweet latte is made with freshly cooked and pureed beetroot, milk, espresso, and a blend of warm spices. The vibrant red color and earthy flavor of the beetroot pairs perfectly with the rich, smooth taste of the coffee and milk.
1 cup milk (any type will work, but oat milk or almond milk work well)
1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
1tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground ginger
Pinch of ground cloves
Instructions
In a blender, combine the pureed beetroot, milk, espresso or coffee, honey or maple syrup (if using), and spices. Blend until smooth.
Heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat until it is hot and steaming.
Pour the latte into a mug and serve hot.
